This heirloom variety, known as ‘kemangi’ in Indonesia, has intensely fragrant leaves. Described as a combination of lemon and basil, this plant is most often used in herbal teas and stir-fry.

Growing Guide

GROW GUIDE CONDITIONS:
Aromatic basil is a perfect companion plant with tomatoes. It is a warm season crop and is best started indoors 4–6 weeks before your last frost date.

GROW GUIDE SEED:
Plant seeds ¼ inch deep and place on a heating mat or in a warm place (optimum soil temperature is 70–90°F). Transplant 12 inches apart, or in containers. It can be direct seeded outdoors throughout the summer to keep you in fresh pesto!
