Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 (8-ounce) package SEEDS OF CHANGE™ Mushroom Simmer Sauce, ¼ cup reserved and set aside
  • ½ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ tsp. freshly cracked pepper
  • 1 (8.5-ounce) package SEEDS OF CHANGE™ Organic Seven Whole Grains Rice
  • ½ cup chopped onions
  • ½ cup chopped bell peppers, any mixture of red, yellow, orange, green
  • ½ tsp. kosher salt

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Reserve ¼ cup reserved SEEDS OF CHANGE™ Mushroom Simmer Sauce for later.
  3. In large bowl stir together all ingredients, including the uncooked rice; mix well.
  4. Pat turkey mixture into greased 9 x 5-inch baking pan.
  5. Pour reserved SEEDS OF CHANGE™ Organic Mushroom Simmer Sauce over top of meat mixture.
  6. Bake for 60–65 minutes or until thermometer reaches 165°F in center of loaf.
  7. Let cool in pan 10 minutes.
  8. Cut into pieces and serve with salad.
