  • 1 ½ Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. cooking oil
  • ½ cup chopped or halved raw cashews
  • 1 tbsp. hot water
  • ½ tsp. lemon juice
  • 4 cups broccoli, cut into bite sized florets
  • 2 tbsp. SEEDS OF CHANGE™ SIZZLE STARTER™ Minced Garlic or minced fresh garlic
  • Optional:
  • SEEDS OF CHANGE™ Organic Quinoa Brown Rice, sriracha sauce, sesame seeds


  1. Stir together brown sugar and hot water until sugar is dissolved. Add soy sauce and lemon juice. Set aside.
  2. Heat skillet or wok with 2 tbsp. oil over high heat. Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry uncovered, for 2–3 minutes. Cover and cook for another 1–2 minutes, until the florets are nearly tender.
  3. Add cashews, and minced garlic. Stir well and cook for another 1–2 minutes (until garlic is cooked and fragrant.)
  4. Reduce heat to medium and add the brown sugar and soy sauce mixture. Stir well and cook for another 1–2 minutes, until the sauce is reduced.
  5. Serve with SEEDS OF CHANGE™ Organic Quinoa & Brown Rice with Garlic prepared according to package instructions and garnish with sesame seeds and sriracha if desired.
