Used in stuffing, poultry dishes and sausage, sage is a garden staple. Start seeds indoors in early spring. Plant seeds shallowly, 1/8-1/4 inch deep, keep moist. Germination may take up to 21 days at soil temperatures between 60-75°F. Transplant 12-18 inches apart into well drained soil in full sun to part shade. Also works well in containers.
