An outstanding buttercup-type winter squash with superb sweet flavor and flaky texture. The dark orange flesh is great simply roasted, or used to make sweet or savory winter pies. This variety, bred by Dr. Neil Holland at North Dakota State University, matures earlier and stores longer than the standard buttercup squash and topped the charts in our comparative field trials for quality and yield. Several fruits are produced on each compact, bush-type plant making this an excellent yielder of winter squash for small gardens.
Days to Harvest: 90
