Greensand has been used since the early 1700’s as a soil conditioner to help loosen heavy clay soils, as well as to improve the moisture holding capacity of sandy loam soils. Derived from the mineral Glauconite naturally occurring in marine sediments, it is a rich source of iron and potash (or potassium) vital for cell growth and carbohydrate metabolism that helps produce strong, sturdy plants, quality fruit, and naturally increases a plant’s resistance to stress. Covers ~100 sq. ft. of garden area. OMRI listed for organic gardening. (6 lb. box)
