The "champagne" of old-time cider apples, the crisp, highly flavored, fine-textured, yellow flesh makes very sugary juice and is also delicious for eating and drying. The grey-green to golden bronze skin has a coppery orange cheek and is heavily russeted. Our apple trees are on MM111 root stock, a semi-dwarfing rootstock that produces 14-16 foot trees.
