Slow Bolt Cilantro - Pack
Coriandrum sativum
2-3 ft. Hardy Annual/Reseeding
Also known as Santo Cilantro, this variety tolerates heat better than others having been bred for maximum leaf production without bolting. In mild climates it can be sown in the fall for spring production. Sow 2 seeds per inch in spring when soil is warming. Likes cool weather. Do successive plantings 3-4 weeks apart for a continuous supply. Enrich soil with mature compost. Fresh leaves, called cilantro, can be harvested at any time, but are best before plant flowers. The spice, coriander, is the mature seed.
