Rich red color inside and out. Earthy, buttery flavor and firm, silky- smooth flesh make a great potato salad. Bred from a variety named Bison, it is well adapted to drought conditions and was first made available in 1984 by Robert Lobitz through Seed Savers Exchanged. (Early to mid-season 90-100 days). 2-pound order plants about 20 row feet and yields 15-20 pounds.
