Oca - 12 Tubers

We're excited to offer organic Oca for the first time! Compact clover-like plants prefer full sun and well-drained fertile soil with a wide pH range (5.3-7.8). Vegetative growth will be killed by fall frosts, but roots can tolerate temperatures in the low 20s. Propagate oca much like potatoes, planting each tuber about 12 inches apart and 2-3 inches deep. For an earlier start in shorter-season areas, start plants indoors up to 2 months before setting out after possibility of frost has passed. Oca also shows promise as a container plant for indoor cultivation.
